🐾 Our Adoption Process – Helping Dogs Find Forever Homes 🐾

If you are interested in adopting one of our available dogs, please call us directly at 272-226-9203 so we can speak with you about the dog and begin the adoption process.

​

Our goal is to make sure every dog is placed in a safe, loving, and forever home. We do not want these dogs being passed from home to home, so we take the time to make sure the dog and the potential family are a good fit for one another.

​

Our adoption process includes:

• Completing an adoption application
• Providing 3 references
• Scheduling a Meet & Greet with the dog, your household/family, and the foster family
• Making sure the dog's personality, needs, energy level, and lifestyle are a good match for your home

🐶 10-Day Trial Option

If you would like to do a 10-day trial period before officially adopting, you will first complete a Pre-Adoption/Trial Form.

​

The trial gives you and the dog time to see how everyone adjusts in the home environment.

At the end of the 10-day trial, if you decide the dog is the right fit for your family, you will complete the final adoption paperwork.

❤️ Already Know You Want to Adopt?

​

If you already know you would like to make the dog a permanent member of your family, you may skip the 10-day trial and complete the adoption paperwork directly.

​

Please understand that once the adoption is finalized, you are accepting responsibility for the dog and committing to providing them with a permanent home.

If circumstances later change and you can no longer keep the dog, you will be responsible for safely and responsibly finding the dog another appropriate home.

Our biggest priority is preventing these dogs from continuing to be displaced or bounced from one home to another. Many of them have already experienced enough change in their lives.
