Cookie is a loyal, affectionate snuggle bug with a gentle and submissive personality. She has an amazing ability to match the energy of her home. Ready for a long walk, hike, or play session? Cookie is ready to go! Want to spend the afternoon curled up on the couch watching TV or lounging in bed? She is perfectly happy chilling and vibing right alongside you. 🥰
Cookie absolutely loves kids of all ages and gets along wonderfully with friendly dogs of all sizes, both male and female. While she does well with both, she tends to gravitate toward and bond more quickly with females than males. She would especially love having another friendly, playful dog sibling to spend her days with.
Cookie is naturally submissive, so she isn't looking to be the boss of the household. She does best around people and dogs who respect her softer personality and allow her to build confidence at her own pace.

🚗 Daily Life With Cookie
Cookie can initially be a little shy about getting into the car and may need some gentle encouragement. Once she's settled in, though, she's happy being your backseat co-pilot, looking out the window and watching the world go by. 🚗🐾
She loves long walks, hikes, adventures, and playtime, making her a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys getting outside. But one of the best things about Cookie is that she doesn't need to be constantly on the go.
When the adventures are over, she's more than ready to come home, climb onto the couch or bed, and relax with her family. She'll sometimes follow you from room to room just to see what you're doing, then find herself a comfortable spot nearby.
She really is the kind of dog who can match your lifestyle—adventure buddy one minute and professional couch potato the next. ❤️
🐾 Cookie's Personality
Cookie is a very submissive and sensitive girl. She thrives with people who use calm communication, patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement.
She can become intimidated by yelling or harsh voices, and if she becomes frightened or overwhelmed, she may submissively urinate. This isn't a typical potty-training issue—it's an emotional response from a sensitive dog. With calm handling and confidence-building, Cookie does beautifully.
Because of her softer personality, we're looking for a family who understands that she doesn't need harsh corrections. She needs someone willing to guide her, encourage her, and help her continue building confidence.
She tends to feel particularly comfortable with women, although she can absolutely build relationships with men when she's given the opportunity to approach, adjust, and develop trust at her own pace.
🎓 Training & Manners
Cookie already has a wonderful foundation.
She is house and potty trained, knows her basic commands, is accustomed to being in a kennel, and walks very nicely on a slip lead.
She also sleeps through the night without accidents and doesn't struggle with separation anxiety when her family needs to leave the house.
Cookie has successfully spent time around multiple friendly dogs and is comfortable sharing her environment with them, including free feeding around friendly dogs.
She's intelligent and eager to be part of whatever her family is doing, so continuing her training would be a great way for her new family to strengthen their bond with her.
Her Story
Cookie comes from a Soldier and military family that I personally know. I'm helping them find her next home because we want to make sure she doesn't simply find a home—we want Cookie to find the right FOREVER home.
This isn't about placing her as quickly as possible. It's about finding people who understand who she is, appreciate everything she has to offer, and are prepared to make her a permanent member of their family.
Cookie deserves stability. We don't want her bouncing from home to home. We want her next chapter to be her forever chapter. 🏡❤️
